Panaji: Goa on Friday reported 102 new Covid-19 cases, one fatality rate and 120 recoveries. It now has 896 active cases while its figure has reached 3,202 due to the deadly virus.

65-year-old man from Sindhudurg died during treatment in hospital GMC. He was suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and was unwell for about 22 days. He had tested positive for Covid-19 on 15 August.
In South Goa, Margao’s Urban Health Center and Community Health Center have a relatively high number of cases, while the caseloads in Kansaulim, Chinchinim and Kortalim were in the range of 40 and 50. While the Markam Primary Health Center had the least number of cases. Except , Ponda, the caseload of other centers was around 20.
