A Mumbai court has refused interim protection from arrest to actress Gehana Vashisht in a pornography case in which businessman Raj Kundra was recently arrested.

Gandi Baat fame actress Gehana Vashisht, who was arrested in a pornography case earlier this year, had applied for anticipatory bail. Now, a sessions court in Mumbai has dismissed the petition. Also, the FIR has been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch.
Gehna was taken into custody by the property cell of Mumbai Crime Branch in February in connection with the pornographic racket case.

Meanwhile, businessman Raj Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe were also arrested last month for creating and publishing porn through various apps. He is currently in judicial custody. The court had recently rejected the anticipatory bail plea of model Sherlyn Chopra, another accused in the case.
