Last year, Poonam Pandey accused her husband Sam Bombay of misbehavior and was admitted to the hospital allegedly due to injuries. He was later arrested on his charges. Now, the actress, who is currently a part of Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Up, has again opened up on her estranged husband and his ordeal. However, Sam has now reacted to his comments. In an interview with ETimes, he said that this is the first time in 4 years that he is speaking.
“I took seven rounds with him seriously. Whatever Poonam is saying is sad, unnecessary and useless. She makes news without talking because she likes to be in the news,” he began.
When questioned on allegations of domestic violence, he said that there is a lot to domestic violence – from physical violence, verbal, emotional, psychological to mental. “There’s a lot of stuff here. Millions of men are suffering and they have no way out. A woman makes a call and the police will nab the man and take him into custody. But I have to go to the police 20 times and then Even they won’t do anything. What else can I say?”
He further added, “Let me tell you that he accused me of molestation and sexual assault on our honeymoon. And, it happened within a week of our marriage. The FIR was lodged. A few days later, he returned me. Called and said molestation is a big word and she had no idea what molestation is. It is beyond my understanding how anyone can be accused of molestation on her honeymoon. Later, she withdrew the charge. As in That I said, no one will believe the man; it doesn’t matter what he says.”
Last year, Poonam filed a case of alleged sexual harassment against her husband Sam Bombay. According to the police, Pandey was admitted to the hospital after lodging a complaint as he suffered injuries on his head, eyes and face. He also said that the beating caused him a brain haemorrhage.
However, Sam indicated that it was he who was in an abusive relationship. “I’ve been abused throughout my relationship. But in 90 percent of my relationships, he blew me away with love; I’ve never felt so much love in my life. So to say I was in an abusive relationship, I I disregard it,” he told the publication.
He made another shocking revelation about Poonam when he said that his wife has all the qualities to buy loyalty.
“Without loyalty, there’s no trust and honesty, and then there’s failure. Good guys don’t make it. You have to be a bad boy. That’s how you survive. Did he ever complain to me about cheating on someone? Is it? I have had many relationships with celebrities bigger than Poonam. Has anyone accused me of assault? Never. Has Poonam been accused of assault by other people? Yes. So there is a pattern. And this That’s what the police told me; I had no idea about it,” he concluded.
