Days after releasing a statement on businessman Raj Kundra’s arrest, actress-model Poonam Pandey has spoken in detail about how Kundra allegedly “threatened” her. Mumbai Police arrests Kundra, who is married Bollywood Star Shilpa Shetty is accused of allegedly making obscene films and publishing them through apps on Monday night. Poonam, who filed a police complaint against Kundra in 2019 for alleged cheating and theft, alleged that Kundra leaked her number with objectionable messages.
Poonam told ETimes, “I was threatened and forced to sign a contract which said – I have to shoot, pose and look in a certain way as per their wish, otherwise they will do all my work. Will leak personal things.”
She also claimed, “When I was not in favor of signing and decided to terminate the contract, they leaked my personal mobile number on the app with messages like ‘Call me now, I will strip for you’ Did it. I still remember, after that, I started getting calls from everywhere, not in the dozens, but in the thousands, at odd hours, asking me for explicit services. People started sending me pornographic pictures and videos. I even left my house out of fear that something bad might happen to me. It felt very scary.”
In her complaint, Poonam had alleged that Kundra and her associates were illegally accessing content featuring her even after a contract was concluded between the two parties. Kundra had then denied the allegations.
The model had signed a deal with Kundra and his company Armsprime Media, which handles the Poonam Pandey app. He claimed in his complaint that the businessman and his associates had been extorting money from his material months after the contract ended.
