Poll of Poll: UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma says SP is taking on BSP, no one close to BJP

Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has said that Samajwadi Party, its allies RLD and BSP are competing among themselves and no one will come close to BJP in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections 2022.

Speaking to News18, Sharma said that the opposition parties – Congress, SP-RLD, AIMIM and Bahujan Samaj Party – will not be able to garner even 100 seats in the 403-seat assembly, and expressed confidence that the ruling BJP will hold 300-plus seats.

He said, ‘SP’s competition is with BSP. Either SP will get one or two seats more than BSP, or BSP will get 1-2 seats more than SP. And don’t take AIMIM lightly. It is also emerging as a significant segment, though its outlook has been negative. The Congress will not get as many seats as it got last time, but they will all compete among themselves, and none of them will be close to the BJP in UP,” Sharma said.

BJP will win more than 50 percent votes and more than 300 seats. Congress, SP, BSP and AIMIM will not cross the three-digit mark. All of them will get less than 100 seats. BJP will win 300 seats,” the deputy CM said.

In response to Sharma’s statement News18’s Poll of Polls Before the assembly elections to be held in five states. Polls of Uttar Pradesh showed that the BJP is consistently returning to power, but with fewer seats. Voters’ predictions show that the Samajwadi Party-led alliance has made significant gains.

The poll of polls predicted that the BJP would win 235-249 seats in the Uttar Pradesh assembly, comfortably crossing the halfway mark of 202. Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party was projected to get 137-147 seats, while Mayawati’s BSP could win 7-13 seats. The Congress, whose campaign is led by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, may have to contend with three to seven seats, according to the poll of polls.

BJP came to power with 312 seats, while Akhilesh YadavThe SP led by SP managed 47. Mayawati’s BSP had to contend with 19 seats and the Congress came fourth with just seven seats in the politically important state. The term of the current assembly of UP is ending on May 14, 2022.

The performance of the BJP will depend on how it has managed its caste equation in the state. More than 13 backward caste MLAs dealt a major blow to the ruling party in recent weeks after minister and OBC leader Swati Prasad Maurya left. Maurya and most of the MLAs joined the Samajwadi Party, but the BJP returned to the game by welcoming Aparna Yadav, wife of Akhilesh Yadav’s half-brother, to the party.

BJP has also targeted the list of SP candidates. “Those accused of riots, murders and kidnappings are becoming leaders today and joining hands with the opposition. The anarchic elements will get the support of the opposition,” Dinesh Sharma said while talking to News18.

Sharma also ruled out any alleged competition from the SP-RLD alliance for Jat votes. “SP and RLD are competing against each other. People know that this alliance is only for opportunism. Neither do they have any loyalty to their alliance nor are they able to save their candidates. Look at his candidate from Jewar, Alka Bandhana ji who had refused to contest the election. There are 3-4 constituencies where these candidates have refused to contest,” Sharma said.

Party colleague and Union Minister Anurag Thakur agrees with Sharma. “We have fulfilled the promise we made five years ago. There was no law and order in the previous Akhilesh Yadav government. That’s why we said that we will give corruption free UP. And five years later, there’s no goonda rajo Now,” Thakur said.

Responding to the poll of polls, Thakur said that the BJP will again score a “triple century”. “We scored a triple century in 2017 and 2019 (Lok Sabha elections). We will score a triple century in 2022 as well. The pollsters can say whatever they want, we will win more than 300 seats… We don’t do caste politics. we work for Development And saath,

Turncoat Swami Prasad Maurya also rubbished the election predictions saying that BJP will lose the election.

“The results are different from what the exit polls predicted. We believe in our agenda and our policies. I was also tempted in the name of Modi From, when modi From Commented about lower caste people in the past, I felt the BJP has improved. But the last five years proved it wrong. Maurya said that the character of BJP is still the same.

SP stands with the people. The mass exodus of ministers and MLAs from the BJP is the face of the minorities in the state. The minorities who once formed the BJP government will topple them.

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections It will be held in seven phases on the following dates: February 10 (Thursday), February 14 (Monday), February 20 (Sunday), February 23 (Wednesday), February 27 (Sunday), March 3 (Thursday) and March 7 (Monday) ).
