Politics in Punjab has heated up over the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. Tomorrow Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are coming to Punjab. He will reach Musa village around 12 noon and meet Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Sarpanch Charan Kaur. Musewala had joined the Congress before the Punjab Assembly elections. He also contested from Mansa on a Congress ticket. However he lost the election. Musewala is close to Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Vading. Congress is besieging the AAP government of Punjab on this issue since day one. Musewala was assassinated the very next day after the government reduced security.

Earlier, CM Bhagwant Man Musa had reached the village. He met Musewala’s father. Mann expressed his sympathy to him. Mann expressed confidence that Moosewala’s killers would not be spared. Punjab Police will soon arrest all of them and give strict punishment.

Parents met the Union Home Minister
Musewala’s parents are not satisfied with the investigation by the Punjab government. He had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Chandigarh Technical Airport two days ago. In which he had demanded a probe from the central agency. However, the BJP maintained that law and order is a state subject. If the Punjab government recommends, the Center is ready to conduct an inquiry. Apart from this, Union Home Minister Gajendra Shekhawat also expressed grief to the family after reaching Musa village.
