In Punjab, a political ruckus has erupted over Captain Amarinder Singh’s Pakistani female friend Arusa Alam. It started with the statement of Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa, looking after the Home Department. Randhawa had asked for a probe into Arusa Alam’s ISI connection. After which Captain Amarinder Singh started attacking him. After this, the two clashed again on Twitter.

However, after reaching Delhi, Randhawa retracted from the investigation. He said that this is a matter related to two countries. Which can only be investigated by RAW. However, Amarinder also released a photo with Sonia Gandhi, showing the Congressmen his extent and the reach of Arusa Alam.

This is how the controversy started

Deputy CM Randhawa had come to the Police Commemoration Day at PAP Complex in Jalandhar. Where he tried to surround Captain Amarinder Singh. He said that Arusa Alam lived here in Amarinder’s government residence for four and a half years. He is asking the DGP to get Arusa’s connection to ISI checked.

On the orders of the then UPA government, the National Security Advisor (NSA) investigated it and granted the visa. Now you are wasting time on this. Whatever help is needed in this, I will do. Amarinder said that I sponsor Arusa’s visa for 16 years. Applications for such visas are sent to the Ministry of External Affairs through the Indian High Commission.
