Political path from Kartarpur Corridor!: After PM Modi, BJP leaders of Punjab will meet the President today; Also met Home Minister and Defense Minister

Punjab BJP leaders met PM Modi on Sunday.

Before the Punjab Vis Election 2022, the BJP leaders of the state have become fully active regarding the Kartarpur Corridor. On Sunday, he met PM Narendra Modi. In which a demand was made to open the Kartarpur Corridor till the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 19th November. Now he is going to meet President Ram Nath Kovind regarding this demand.

After this, he will also meet Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The Kartarpur corridor between India and Pakistan has been closed since March last year. It was closed after Corona’s cases increased. Through this corridor, Sikh devotees have an open view of Shri Kartarpur Sahib.

Navjot Sidhu had also raised the demand to open the corridor after reaching Dera Baba Nanak.

Political meaning of Kartarpur Corridor
The Kartarpur Corridor is important for Sikh pilgrims, but it also has political implications for leaders. This is the reason why the first CM Charanjit Channi raised this demand in front of PM Narendra Modi in Delhi. After that Punjab Congress President Navjot Sidhu reached Dera Baba Nanak a few days ago to see the corridor.

After this, from Akali Dal to Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) also raised this issue. The BJP also became active so that in the next election, only the BJP gets its credit.

Punjab BJP leaders met National President JP Nadda and discussed the election.

Sidhu came in the discussion, PM Modi inaugurated
Navjot Sidhu came into the limelight in the case of Kartarpur Corridor. When he went to the swearing-in ceremony of Pak PM Imran Khan, there he hugged Pak Army Chief Qamar Bajwa. This caused panic in Indian politics. Sidhu, however, said that he did so after giving his nod for the opening of the Kartarpur corridor.

After this the corridor opened and it was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi and then CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Sidhu had gone to attend the inauguration ceremony in Pakistan at that time.
