An auto rickshaw at Bindki in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district stunned the policemen as it had 26 passengers on board. Well, maybe the quote ‘The More the Merrier’ is in the driver’s mind while performing this act. Rather interestingly, the auto rickshaw was stopped by the UP Police for overspeeding. It was only after catching it that they came to know that 26 passengers were on board. Of course, the policemen were surprised to find a total of 26 people on the small three-wheeler. And let’s not forget that the number 26 was after the driver was ejected.

A video of the police counting the passengers one by one has now gone viral. The auto was first spotted near Fatehpur’s Bindki Kotwali area when the police checked the speed gun. The police drove away the speeding auto.
When the officers started unloading the passengers, they were stunned to see 27 people coming out of the auto, all tight-lipped including the driver.

After this the auto has been seized.
The driver later told reporters that the family was going to a relative’s house to celebrate Eid, and could not find another auto, so he agreed to pick them all up.
