Police held inter-state meeting for UP elections. Noida News – Times of India

Noida: Forefront Assembly elections In Uttar Pradesh next year Gautam Budh Nagar Police has started inter-state coordination meetings with officials Haryana and Delhi – two states that share their border with the district.
Meetings are being held to chalk out a joint strategy and discuss key law and order-related issues ahead of the state assembly elections in UP.
According to senior officials of the district, many aspects related to this joint patrolEstablishment of checkpoints on strategic roads (including non-walkable roads) and check smuggling of illicit liquor, arms, cash and drugs were discussed.
“As state assembly elections are near, we are holding frequent coordination meetings with senior police officers from the states and districts bordering the city. Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissioner Alok Kumar said that a meeting is being held to discuss the strategy to conduct the elections in a peaceful manner. He further mentioned that for the elections, a comprehensive security plan was being prepared as well as the list of most wanted criminals, declared criminals and parole jumpers were shared with other states and districts.
