A gangrape victim from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) has appealed to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi for help. She released the video and told that for the last seven years she has been struggling to get the rapists punished, but she did not get justice. Now the lives of her children are also in danger.

Maria Tahir of Muzaffarabad released an emotional video addressing PM Modi. In this she is saying – I have been fighting for justice for the last seven years. I was gang raped. The police, government and courts here are not able to give me justice.

Give shelter in India, so that the children are safe
She said- Through this video, I appeal to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to allow us to come to India, so that the lives of my children are saved. My children are constantly being threatened with death. The police here and a politician Chaudhary Tariq Farooq will kill me and my children anytime.
