Poco: Poco to launch laptops with 16-inch screen and 3,620mAh battery in India – Times of India

Smartphone brands are diversifying outside of mobile phones and introducing multiple AIoT products. SomeAccording to the report of GizmoChina, which was earlier a part of Xiaomi, it has now carved a niche for itself in the market and is trying to enter the PC market. The report states that the Chinese smartphone maker may launch its first laptop in India and has recently received a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified Redmi G series laptop battery. It is not entirely clear whether they will design a completely new laptop or rebrand the laptop sold by Redmi.
There is no clear information about the price and availability of these laptops as the company has not released any official announcement. Some of the specifications that the laptop is expected to carry are listed below.

The report states that the Poco brand laptops were listed under the Poco brand name on the BIS website with the Redmi G series laptop battery and model number G16B01W. The laptop is expected to house a 3,620 mAh battery which is also the same in the Redmi G gaming laptop.
If the company launches this laptop as a gaming laptop, then it can be expected that it will have Intel or AMD Ryzen series chipset along with NVIDIA or Radeon graphics card. The Redmi G gaming laptop sports a 16.1-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate, 11th generation Intel Core i5 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.
Poco is expected to announce the release date of its M4 Pro 5G in India which was recently launched globally by the company. The device is the successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G and was introduced as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11.
