Poco recently launched its flagship smartphone – the Poco F6 – in India, which gets all its power from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It also features a 50MP OIS camera. The new Poco F6 carries a price tag of Rs 29,999 in India and faces competition with models like the OnePlus 12R and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Here is all you need to know about the new smartphone from Poco.
Poco F6: Specifications
The Poco F6 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution, peak brightness of 2400 nits, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. Furthermore, it gets an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 2160 Hz and 1920 Hz PWM dimming. The device also supports Dolby Vision, Widevine L1, and HDR 10+.
Corning Gorilla Victus protects the front of the device, while the back features a polycarbonate design available in two colour variants: Titanium and Black.
Performance-wise, the phone boasts the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset based on the 4nm process. It is coupled with an Adreno 735 GPU to handle all graphics-intensive activities. The handset will be offered with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
It runs on Xiaomi’s new Android 14-based HyperOS interface. The company also promises 3 years of OS updates and another year of security patches, making it upgradable until at least Android 17.

Poco F6: Camera
The Poco F6 sports a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX 882 main lens with OIS (with 2x lossless zoom) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. A 20-megapixel snapper on the front does your selfie and video call jobs. The back camera is capable of recording video at a maximum of 4K 60 fps (stable video at 1080p 30 fps), while the front sensor can record up to 4K 30 fps.
Poco F6: Battery
The new smartphone from Poco packs a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged quickly using the 120W charger that comes along in the box. It also features Poco’s new Iceloop cooling technology, which is claimed to deliver three times better results than the traditional VC cooling system.
Poco F6: Price in India
Poco F6 5G’s base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage comes at a starting price of Rs 29,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and 12GB RAM and 512GB storage versions cost Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively. The Poco F6 5G is offered in Black and Titanium colour options and customers can buy it through Flipkart starting May 29.
With bank offers and exchange discounts, you can buy the Poco F6 5G at a starting price of Rs 25,999. While the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the smartphone is available at Rs 27,999, you can get your hands on the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model at Rs 29,999.
