Poco has launched its latest smartphone Poco F3 GT in India. Soon after the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 on Thursday, July 22, the smartphone is the latest to join the sub-Rs 30,000 price segment. The Poco F3 GT offers pretty robust specifications, as well as shoulder triggers that Poco calls the ‘Maglev’. . The smartphone is rebranded from the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition device that the Xiaomi group sells globally. in India, Poco F3 GT will compete OnePlus Nord 2, Realme X7 Max and Oppo Reno 6 are in the under Rs 30,000 price segment in India.
Poco F3 GT: Price, Variants and Availability
The Poco F3 GT will be sold via Flipkart, and will come in two colors – Predator Black and Gunmetal Silver. There are a total of three variants of the phone – 6GB + 128GB for Rs 26,999, 8GB + 128GB for Rs 28,999 and 8GB + 256GB for Rs 30,999. The sale will start from July 26 and till August 2, buyers will get a discount of Rs 1,000. Between August 3 and 9, buyers will get a discount of Rs 500. Each discount will be applicable on all three variants of the phone.
Key Specifications
The Poco F3 GT is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Up front, it sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. It reportedly has a vapor chamber with a ‘white graphene’ heat sink, which will help with longer gaming sessions. It also packs a 64MP triple rear camera setup and a 5,065mAh battery pack with 67W fast charging. Poco has claimed that a charge time of 15 minutes should be enough to offer “one day” of use.
The Poco F3 GT is reportedly made of aircraft grade aluminum and features ‘Maglev’ triggers for a better gaming experience. The company has also made optimizations like an L-shaped charging cable, which will apparently ensure ease of charging while gaming. It will also come with ‘Game Turbo’ mode in its MIUI 12.5 software based on Android 11 for optimized gaming. It also has a focused selfie camera in a drill hole slot and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for screen protection.
