The Congress leader said the Prime Minister’s “silence” despite alleged allegations by former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik and questions raised by General (Retd) Roy Chowdhury regarding the Pulwama attack raises many questions.

Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil has said Prime Minister Narendra Modi Must break his silence and answer the issues raised by former Army Chief General (Retd) Shankar Roychowdhury on the Pulwama terror attack of 2019.

“General (Retd) Shankar Roychowdhury said that the government has the biggest responsibility for the martyrdom of soldiers in Pulwama. The National Security Advisor, who advises the Prime Minister, is also guilty of lapses in security,” Rajya Sabha MP Gohil said on Saturday.

He said the Prime Minister’s “silence” despite the alleged allegations of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik and questions raised by General (Retd) Roy Chowdhury regarding the Pulwama attack raises many questions.

“In the national interest, a white paper should be issued on the Pulwama attack, in which the government should explain how the attack took place, where was the negligence, what was the intelligence failure, why the jawans were denied the aircraft, what in the security There were lapses and what was the role of CRPF, NHA, NSA and PMO,” Gohil said.

In February 2019, 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in a terrorist attack on a convoy of security vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.

Malik, who was the then governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has recently alleged intelligence failures and the central government’s denial of planes for movement of security personnel.
