PM Modi will begin his two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Today the Prime Minister will take part in a road show in Dharamsala, for which people were invited door-to-door.

Himachal Pradesh BJP’s media in-charge Rakesh Sharma said that the road show of the Prime Minister will be taken out from KCCB Chowk of Kacheri Bazar in Dharamsala to the State Martyrs Memorial.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the roadshow because BJP has given strong, transparent and corruption free governance.

Modi’s eight years at the Center and nearly four and a half years of Jai Ram Thakur in the state have been full of achievements.

The BJP spokesperson confirmed that Prime Minister Modi will also preside over the National Conference of Chief Secretaries of States and Union Territories on Thursday and Friday.

Himachal Pradesh CM takes stock of preparations for PM Modi’s visit

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday took stock of the preparations for PM Narendra Modi’s two-day visit starting Thursday.

After reaching Dharamsala, he presided over the review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. He also reviewed the preparations for the roadshow.

“During the roadshow, various cultural groups dressed in traditional attire will welcome the Prime Minister with their musical instruments,” he said.

Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the venue of the All India Conference of Chief Secretaries, which Modi is scheduled to address.

PM Modi will arrive at the specially built helipad at the Police Stadium, where he will be received by the State Governor, CM and Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

He will leave for Delhi on Friday evening.

Himachal Pradesh goes to polls in December.
