Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said Pariksha Pe Charcha is one of the most exciting programs which gives an opportunity to discuss ways to make exams stress-free and help students.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Urged everyone to participate in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023’ on Wednesday. The interactive program gives an opportunity to discuss the ways to make the examinations stress free and help the students.

PM Modi will interact with students, parents and teachers during the annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ on January 27. The sixth edition of the dialogue will be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.

”Pariksha pe Charcha is one of the most exciting shows which gives an opportunity to discuss ways to make exams stress free and support our #ExamWarriors. I look forward to the event on 27th of this month and urge you all to participate in this unique conversation. #PPC2023,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted on Wednesday.

Registrations to participate in the annual event were open from November 25 to December 30.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where Modi interacts with students appearing for upcoming board exams. During the event, he also answers the queries of the students related to exam stress and other issues. The first edition of Prime Minister’s interaction program with school and college students was held at the stadium on February 16, 2018.

according to ministry official education (MOE), registrations have more than doubled this year as compared to the year 2022. Around 38.80 lakh participants (Students- 31.24 lakhs, Teachers- 5.60 lakhs, Parents- 1.95 lakhs) have registered for PPC- 2023 as compared to around 15.7 lakhs for PPC. -2022.

Students from more than 150 countries, teachers from 51 countries and parents from 50 countries have registered for PPC-2023.

Education Ministry officials further said that a large number of students, teachers and parents from state boards, CBSE, KVS, NVS and other boards participated enthusiastically. Around 2,050 participants selected through creative writing competitions on MyGov will be presented with a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, which includes the Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English authored by the Prime Minister, and a certificate. Some questions of the participants to be selected by NCERT may appear in PPC-2023.

Education Ministry said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi conceptualized this unique interactive program – Pariksha Pe Charcha, wherein students, parents, teachers from across the country and also from abroad discuss with him their concerns related to examinations and life after school . This program seeks to help overcome stress to celebrate life as a ‘fest’.

Pariksha Pe Charcha was successfully organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education for the last five years. The program has been proposed in a town hall type format similar to the year 2022, following the COVID-19 protocol laid down by the Ministry of Health.
