Meeting with VP Kamala Harris, Apple chief Tim Cook on the cards during PM Modi’s US visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting the United States this week, is likely to meet US Vice President Kamala Harris and Apple chief Tim Cook. On his US visit, PM Modi will follow a marathon program and hold a series of back-to-back high-level meetings. PM Modi will reach Washington DC on 22nd September and the next morning he will meet top US CEOs.
Prime Minister Modi’s meeting with Kamala Harris and Tim Cook is on the cards, however, officials are yet to confirm the details of the meeting. According to news agency ANI, work is being done on the schedule right now.
PM Modi will also meet Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Japanese counterpart Yoshihide Suga on the same day.
PM Modi will hold the first physical bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden and will attend the first in-person Quad Leaders Summit in Washington on 24 September.
Interestingly, the visit of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is also coinciding with the visit of PM Modi to Washington, he is also likely to meet.
PM Modi will leave for New York on 24 September. The next day he will deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
