PM Modi to address year’s last ‘Mann ki Baat’ today, likely to discuss Covid-19 situation in India – Details here

new Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the last Mann Ki Baat of the year 2022 today. This will be the 96th edition of the Prime Minister’s monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat. The show will be telecast today at 11 am. Given the rising covid scare in the country, it seems likely that PM Modi will discuss the status of covid-19 in India and how the country plans to take preventive steps to contain the spread of the virus. Modi had on 13 December invited people to share their inputs for the upcoming episode of Mann Ki Baat scheduled for 25 December. PM Modi urged people to write in on the NaMo app and MyGov app or record their messages on 1800-11-7800.

Sharing MyGov’s invite, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “The last #MannKiBaat of 2022 will be on 25th of this month. I look forward to getting your inputs on the programme. I urge you to write on the NaMo app MyGov, or record your message on 1800-11-7800.”

Earlier on November 30, during the 95th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that our country is home to the world’s oldest traditions. So it is our responsibility to preserve our traditions and traditional knowledge, promote it and take it forward as much as possible. The Prime Minister highlighted how Indian music is bringing closer people not only in India but also abroad. The Prime Minister said that music not only brings joy to the body but also to the mind, music also unites our society.

The Prime Minister also cited the example of the Naga community and the efforts being made by them to preserve and protect their glorious cultural heritage. During Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister talked about the singer from Greece – ‘Konstantinos Kalitzis’ who sang Bapu’s favorite song during Gandhiji’s 150th birth anniversary celebrations. “The singer has such an affinity for India, that in the last 42 (forty-two) years he has come to India almost every year. He has studied the origins of Indian music, the various Indian music systems, the different types of ragas, talas, and rasas. as well as various households,” he said.

“In the last eight years, the export of musical instruments from India has increased three and a half times. Talking about electric musical instruments, their export has increased 60 times. This shows that the craze for Indian culture and music is increasing across the country. The largest buyers of Indian musical instruments are developed countries like USA, Germany, France, Japan and UK. It is a matter of fortune for all of us that our country has such a rich heritage of music, dance and music. ,” PM Modi said.
