Prime Minister Narendra Modi On July 3, he will address a public meeting called ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ at Parade Ground in Secunderabad here. As the title of the meeting suggests, PM Modi may sound the poll bugle for the 2023 assembly elections in Telangana to prepare the BJP cadre. for electioneering.

Modi, who arrived here on Saturday to attend the two-day National Executive Committee meeting of the BJP, will address the rally on Sunday evening. During his last visit to the city on May 26, Modi criticized family politics by indirectly referring to the TRS party, saying that the ‘familywadi’ is the ‘worst enemy’ of democracy.

He had expressed confidence that the BJP would come to power in the state in the next assembly elections. According to political pundits, Modi is expected to continue his campaign against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the ruling TRS.

Rao, popularly known as KCR, slammed Modi at a party meeting on Saturday in support of opposition presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha and demanded that the PM be “by the people” in his public meeting on Sunday. The questions being raised should be answered. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, who oversaw the arrangements for the meeting, said on Friday that over 3,000 police personnel, including special police, greyhounds and octopuses, would be deployed for the meeting.

He also said that the Cantonment Board and Hyderabad civic body officials have made arrangements for parking of vehicles which are public for the meeting.
