Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the proposal was moved by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and supported by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Karnataka leader Govind Karjol.

At its national executive meeting on Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) passed a political resolution condemning the opposition for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the country’s image got a boost under his leadership.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the proposal was moved by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and supported by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Karnataka leader Govind Karjol.

Sitharaman said that Rijiju spoke in detail and there was a detailed discussion on the proposal which had nine main points.

In addition, four states Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya And Karnataka Also informed about their organizational activities. Elections are due in the states early this year.
