PM Modi addresses the nation through Mann Ki Baat: Highlights

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the nation in the 83rd episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today. This is the second last edition of the year.

In his last episode of Mann Ki Baat, which aired on 24 October, the Prime Minister had emphasized on the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The PM had also highlighted that India was one of the first countries in the world to create a digital record of land in its villages with the help of drones.

Here’s a look at the highlights of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat:

  • In December, India celebrates Navy Day and Armed Forces Flag Day. On these occasions, I miss my security forces.
  • A three-day festival was organized in Kashi in the honor of Tulsidas, Sant Kabir, Sant Ravidas, Bhartendu Harishchandra, Munshi Premchand and Jaishankar Prasad. All of them played a major role in promoting public awareness.
  • We all call the glory of Vrindavana according to our own capacity but the inner bliss of Vrindavana, its inherent soul, no one can attain it in its entirety… it is infinite. This is the reason why Vrindavan attracts people from all over the world.
  • It is in the interest of the world to protect the natural resources around us.
  • There was a river in Jalaun which was called Noon River. Gradually, the river came to the verge of extinction. This created a problem for the farmers of the area. The people of Jalaun formed a committee this year and revived the river. This is an example of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
