PM Kisan Yojana 10th Installment: There is good news for all the people waiting for the 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 10th installment of the scheme will be transferred on January 1 i.e. on the new year.
The Central Government has informed the beneficiaries about this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the amount to the bank accounts of farmers at 12 noon on the new year. Now that the date for the next installment has been decided, here are a few things that the beneficiaries should be aware of.
How to participate in the program?
Farmers can participate in this program through this website pmindiawebcast.nic.in Or they can connect through Doordarshan. PM Modi will also release equity grant to Farmer Producer Organizations on the day the next installment is released.
It is mandatory for farmers to have eKYC – know how it is done.
The government has made e-KYC Aadhaar mandatory for farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana. Aadhar based OTP authentication information is available on this portal- pmkisan.gov.in
Click on e-KYC option in the farmer’s corner for details and to approach the nearest CSC center for biometric authentication. However, it can also be done sitting at home with the help of mobile, laptop or computer.

On the right side you will find many types of tabs in which eKYC will be at the top, you have to click on it.
Now enter your Aadhaar number and image code and click on the search button.
After that enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar and enter the OTP.
The eKYC will be completed when you enter all the required details, if any information is incorrect or missing, you will get an error that says ‘Invalid’.
This may delay your installment or delay the process.
You can get it rectified at Aadhar Seva Kendra.
If the eKYC is completed then on January 1, you will be able to check your name among the beneficiaries.

- On the home page, you will get the option of Farmers Corner.
- After clicking on it go to ‘Beneficiary List’.
- Click on ‘Drop Down’. And select the State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village.
- Click on ‘Get Report’.
- After this there will be a complete list of beneficiaries, in which you can see your name.
What is PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme?
To increase the income of the farmers, the central government had started the scheme in 2019, under which Rs. 6000 rupees are transferred annually in the account of farmers. The government releases three installments of Rs. 2000 and the money is transferred to the farmers every 4 months.

The number of farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana has increased to 12 crore. So far, the government has transferred the money of 9 installments under this scheme. The government has transferred Rs 1.58 lakh crore under this scheme.
Who gets the benefit of the scheme?
To become a beneficiary of this scheme, the age of the farmers should be between 18 to 40 years. Also, farmers should have 2 hectares of cultivable land. Those who do not have cultivable land will not be able to take advantage of the scheme.
