Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government provides an income support of Rs 6,000 per year to the farmers in three equal installments. This benefit is provided to small and marginal farmer families having joint land/ownership of up to 2 hectares. This amount goes into the bank account of the farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months.
The Center had paid another installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on 14 May 2021 to help the farmers. Under this scheme, till now the government has deposited eight installments directly in the bank accounts of the farmers.
Now, under this scheme, the government is all set to transfer the next installment of Rs 2000 to the bank account of the beneficiary farmers. It will directly benefit about 10 crore farmers.

To get the benefits of the scheme, farmers have to apply for the scheme and submit citizenship certificate, land papers, Aadhar card and bank account details to be a part of the scheme.
How to check PM-KSNY installment and status:
- First of all you have to visit the official website of PM-KSNY pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on ‘Farmers Corner Section’ and tap on ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.
- Here, farmers can check their application status and their name and amount deposited in their bank account.
- After that they can enter Aadhar number, mobile number or account number in the next page.
How to register for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana:
- First of all you have to visit the official website of PM Kisan Samman Yojana- pmkisan.gov.in.
- Then click on Farmers Corner option on the homepage
- After that you have to click on New Registration
- Then a new tab will open in which Aadhar number and captcha code will have to be entered.
- Now you have to give the details of your land.
- After filling all the details click on submit button.
