PM Imran says Gen Bajwa told him not to call Fazal ‘diesel’ – Henry Club

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday addressed a massive public meeting in Lower Dir in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he addressed three party chiefs – PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e- did. A lot. (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman – who have joined hands to file a no-confidence motion against him.

Terming them as “three puppets”, Imran recalled instances from the past when, according to him, these leaders went against Pakistan’s national interest.

Addressing the crowd, the Prime Minister referred to Fazal as “Diesel”, but then said that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa asked him not to refer to Fazal as Diesel.

“I was just talking to General Bajwa and he asked me not to call Fazal Diesel. But I am not saying so. People have named him Diesel.

The premier said that at a recent media briefing, Fazal had said that when he comes to power, he will “reform an institution”. This, the premier said, was a reference to the Pakistani military.

The Prime Minister said, ‘Pakistan exists today because of the army. “Will these guys fix the army?” he questioned.
