Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar today. He will attend five different events in a span of seven hours from his landing at Ahmedabad airport at 10 am till his return at 5 pm. Meanwhile, he is also going to inaugurate rural and urban housing prepared at a cost of about Rs 2000 crore. In the afternoon, he is scheduled to meet CEOs of companies investing in GIFT City.

Will address 91 thousand teachers of the country
Under his first program, PM will address about 91 thousand teachers across the country. In fact, the 29th Educational Conference has been organized by the All India Primary Teachers Association from May 11 to 13 at Nijanand Farm near Gandhinagar Gift City. About 91 thousand teachers from all over the country have participated in this.

Theme of the conference ‘Teacher’
The theme of the conference is teacher at the center of the process of bringing change in education. Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, will be shown here in the form of photographs, the reforms and changes made in the education world through Shala Praveshotsav, Gunotsav, Kanya Shiksha, Modi will visit this exhibition.

Exhibition of Social Work of Teachers
Along with many natural calamities that have befallen Gujarat, many important events across the country will also be shown in the form of exhibition in the academic conference. In this, an exhibition of commendable work done by teachers during famine, flood, Pulwama attack, Corona epidemic will also be shown.

He will also inaugurate the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to be built at a cost of Rs 1946 crore in Gandhinagar.

After this, the functions organized at Mahatma Mandir will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 2452 crore of the state government. In this, various works of urban development worth Rs 1654 crore, water supply programs worth Rs 734 crore are included.

Modi will also inaugurate the development works of Public Transport and Mineral Department. Under urban development, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the flyover bridge built on SP Ring Road and the 4-lane flyover bridge at Amraiwadi. After this, he will also inaugurate an auditorium built at Dahgam in Gandhinagar district.

Meeting with Vice Chancellors in Gandhinagar
Under his last programme, the PM will discuss new plans and policies regarding the IFSC center to be built in Gandhinagar. Apart from this, she will also participate in the meeting being held in Gandhinagar with the Vice-Chancellors of some universities. The PM will also hold a meeting with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BJP President CR Patil and senior officials of the Gujarat government at the Raj Bhavan between 4 and 5 pm.
