Substitute Marcus Rashdorf scored a late winner as Manchester United beat West Ham United 1-0 in a Premier League match with a sensational finish in Manchester on Saturday. With this win at Old Trafford, Manchester United leapfrogged West Ham United to fourth, thus coming into contention for the European places.
Rashford tapped the ball three minutes into stoppage time, lifting the match that had by that time paid mediocre fare for a heart-stopping finish.
In other matches on Saturday, Everton slipped to a lone goal loss to Aston Villa and Newcastle United beat Leeds United by a lone goal.
A tough game leading to a stalemate at Old Trafford ended in a sensational way as the never-ending Red Devils made some late spells.
Rashford came on as a second-half sub and was a second from the final whistle, which saw him tap the away post to convert an Edinson Cavani cross.

It was a nail-biting late flurry by the hammers that relieved the tension with a turn and snapshot from Marshall, before Rashford stole the away post to snatch the winner and exploded at Old Trafford.
