With Naveen Kumar still out, the responsibility of the raid fell on the shoulders of Vijay and Sandeep Narwal. The latter tried his best and was probably the only positive for Delhi in the first half which ended 19-11 in favor of Haryana.
Krishan got two tackle points from the right corner for Delhi as he planned a comeback. But Vikas Kandola of Steelers ensured that Delhi remained on the back foot with his classic quick raiding.
Fate had other plans for the Steelers, though five of his defenders did not touch the Delhi raider in the lobby. The move resulted in 5 points for Delhi and their team was brought back on the mat.
Vikas Kandola delayed the All Out with his valiant raid which earned them a Super 10, but Delhi eventually reduced Haryana’s lead to 3 points with 7 minutes remaining.
