Physical classes resume for class 6-8 students in Mysore. Mysuru News – Times of India

Mysore: Physical classes begin for students between classes VI and VIII Mysore district today.
The physical classes were started on 23 August for the students between class IX and II PUC.
No cluster outbreak has been reported from any part of the district since the reopening of High School and PU College.
These students are returning to schools after a gap of about five and a half months.
Earlier, the DPI had resumed classes for these students on February 21, 2021.
However, after the outbreak of the second wave, physical classes were suspended.
As per the SOP issued by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), classes will be conducted on alternate days for the students. There will be no lunch. Classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday only.
Attendance is not mandatory for students.
Parental consent has been made mandatory.
In many schools, teachers welcomed the girl students with sweets.
Local Gram Panchayat members also participated in the welcome program.
