Today’s increase in the price of petrol and diesel was 80 paise per liter, taking the total increase in rates to 5.60 per liter in the last nine days. According to the price notification issued by the petroleum traders of the state, the price of petrol in Delhi will now be 101.01 per liter, which was 100.21 earlier, while the price of diesel will be 92.27 per liter, which was 91.47 earlier. Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai increased by 84 and 85 paise to 115.88 and 100.10 per liter respectively. Rates have been raised across the country, with variations based on the amount of municipal taxation in each state.
