Permanent beauty treatments for brides-to-be – Times of India

A new bride is always in the limelight due to innumerable dinners and meetings. And unfortunately, newlyweds are expected to always look all prime-n-appropriate and that too within minutes. Well, though many women have tried to change the trend by adopting a low-maintenance natural makeup look, some who love makeup have started opting for permanent makeup.

With permanent makeup, one can look almost perfect at all times. This is a must-have for new brides, especially those who love to wear makeup. We reached out to Shikha Baaghi Bhandari, Founder and Managing Director, Timeless Aesthetics, to know more about permanent makeup and this is what she had to say.

“The basic idea behind these treatments is to correct, enhance and neutralize. Now this way can be a little difficult to understand but a simple version is to make you look like yourself. Imagine you have a blank section in your brows, they are the proper shape or your lips are too dark or you don’t even have hairline or gaps. All of the above issues are more incredibly common in women. Permanent makeup is not going to give you unnatural or exotic features that you wouldn’t have otherwise Instead, it will give you in a perfect world your eyebrows or lip color that would be naturally rosy or pink, or hairline without any blemishes or gaps. The beauty of these treatments is that none of them Looks like they’re paired, but they look amazingly natural and no one can tell them apart without closer examination,” explains Shikha as she recommends some permanent makeup ideas.

permanent eyebrows

Permanent eyebrows are one of the most popular PMU treatments in the world. It has strengthened the PMU industry in the world. Believe it or not, an adult woman visits the parlor once a month to shape their eyebrows and once a day, they pencil their eyebrows to give them a sharp contrast. Permanent Browse has completely eliminated all this need. You get sharp and high-definition brows for over a year and with simple touch-ups, you can keep them that way for the rest of your life. “I personally recommend ombre brows for shorter women and combination brows for slightly larger ones,” says Shikha.

permanent lip color

There is a lot of confusion about this treatment, mainly people believe that it is for people who have dark lips/smokers but that is just one side of it. Many times, over a period, the lips lose their vibrancy and the real tone they once had. Permanent lip color enhances that vibrancy and revives evenly pigmented lips. There is lip neutralization and then there is color application which is done by a number of exquisite techniques and shading is applied to give natural inward and outward curvature to the lips.

permanent eyeliner
Kajal or kajal is the crown of an Indian woman. It enhances the eyes and makes one look very attractive and classy. However, implementing it yourself is a daunting task and even if you do find someone to implement it for you, if they are not professionals, chances are it will be uneventful. Then on the professional end, what type of mascara to use is a whole other story. “Remember, brides cry and when they do, makeup doesn’t stay the way it used to be a few hours ago. So, there’s a stigma attached to it, yet there should be a polarized beauty element. Permanent eyeliner is meant to age you.” Gives the right kajal. You can choose your type of design and any professional artist can give you that look. I absolutely recommend it for brides-to-be,” quipped Shikha.

Scalp Micropigmentation

“Now, it’s not necessarily aimed at women per se, but in my career, I’ve seen many women who have thin hair and no total amount of hair. Even extremely silky hair is special. The look can highlight gaps with bridal headgear and accessories. Many women consider simply adding hair extensions or other cosmetic solutions, but let’s face it, an accident and your wedding day is just going to be ruined. Scalp micropigmentation is a complex treatment that can help restore your hairline by minimal application. It’s a rare thing for a young woman to need it, but if they do, we have it There is a cure for them,” says Shikha.

eyelash lift

Eyelash extensions are hip but they are not for brides, perhaps for bridesmaids or that cynical aunt but not for the lady of the time. Brides need to look classy and that’s where a simple treatment enters that allow your natural lashes to curl up and out. The treatment hardly takes 30 minutes and the results last you 2-3 weeks. A perfect time to go through all the festivities without worrying about them. The only caveat is that you must have a good number of flashes.

time limit

An important point to keep in mind is that these treatments may not overlap for all individuals, so prompt appointment is essential. The first of these treatments should be done at least two months before the big day and not two treatments at once unless they contradict the results or could adversely affect your skin. Single treatment is good in itself and first proper touch up is to be done after 4 weeks which is like final application of permanent treatment. The same is true for lips, eyes, scalp and all others.

Permanent makeup treatments are painless and are done under very sterile conditions. The products used are tested and approved by the FDA. These treatments are for everyone except those who have severe skin conditions. It’s a little downtime but nothing like bed rest. However, have strict cleaning and avoid direct sunlight. Some medications need to be discontinued and medicated lotions or topical medications need to be checked with your professional artist or doctor.
