Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej will be collaborating for the first time on an untitled project directed by Samuthirakani.
The shooting of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan’s new untitled film under the direction of Samuthirakani recently began. It is an official remake of the Tamil film Vinod Seetham. The project will mark the actor’s first collaboration with his nephew Sai Dharam Tej and will star both in lead roles. Recently, Sai Dharam Tej gave a glimpse into the current form of Power Star Pawan Kalyan (PSPK). The actor looks dashing and can be seen sporting a beard. Reportedly, this is also her look for her upcoming untitled film.
During the teaser launch of the film Virupaksha, Sai Dharam Tej tweeted a few pictures with a caption expressing his gratitude to PSPK. He wrote, ‘Can’t ask for anything more. Virupaksha is an important step for me and it is a celebration to start a moment like this with the blessings and kind words of my Guruji, Pawan Kalyan Guru. Thank you Kalyan Mama for your love, appreciation and always being with me.”

Earlier, the team of the untitled film had shared candid pictures of the lead stars and wrote, “The most ambitious and powerful combination PSPK and SDT project begins today! Keep your bars high. Bombshell updates on the way.”
The untitled project is helmed by actor-director Samuthirakani and will be bankrolled by People Media Factory. The Tamil film stars Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah in lead roles. In the Telugu remake, Pawan Kalyan will essay the character played by Samuthirakani while Sai Dharam Tej will replace Thambi Ramaiah, who dies in an accident and is given a second chance in life.
Pawan Kalyan was previously seen in Sagar Ke Chandra’s Bhimla Nayak. The film hit the theaters on February 25, 2022 and went on to become a blockbuster. He will next be seen in Harish Shankar’s Ustad Bhagat Singh. It is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Theri. He also has Hari Hara Veera Mallu by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi in the pipeline. Whereas, Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in Deva Katta’s Republic.
