After announcing the replacement of singer Arunita Kanjilal, the makers finally released the teaser of her much-awaited music video ‘Fursat’ today. This is the second video track with director Raj Surani and produced by Octopus Entertainment. The full song will be released on the official Octopus Entertainment Youtube channel.
The new romantic track ‘Fursat’ is sung by popular music duo and Indian Idol 12 contestants Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep Rajan, and stars South actor Chitra Shukla opposite Pawandeep. The music video is based on the story of expressing and proving love through singing, which will resonate with all those who have gone through a romantic journey. Music is given by Kashi Kashyap and lyrics are penned by Arafat Mehmood and Mukesh Mishra.
Talking about the song, Pawandeep said, “After getting so much love on my previous song, I was really thinking about this exciting thing. Singing is my passion but I think I am better at acting too. Ho ho ho. The credit also goes to Raj Surani who makes me comfortable and helps bring out the best in me. I am working with Chitra for the first time and I hope the audience will love our onscreen chemistry.
“This is my first music video with the very hardworking and talented Chitra and she brings out the right kind of emotion that matches with the track. Our sole aim is to entertain the audience and I hope they will give all their love to this new romantic couple as well.”
The teaser made the audience want more from the interesting pair Pawandeep and Chitra. The music video will release on 16 December. As per a report in ETimes, Arunita may not be invited for the music launch as her appearance may focus on her recent controversy over Raj Surani skipping the song. Arunita opted to star in her second song, which she had planned to make with the pair. Arunita claimed that she does not want to act as she is dropping out, while reports say that she had a friendship with Pavandeep which was not going well with her parents.
