There has been a big disclosure about Barjinder Parwana, the mastermind of the violence between two groups in Patiala. During the Khalistan Murdabad march of Shiv Sena, Parwana itself organized a demonstration against the Sikh protesters. He took them till near the Kali Mata temple. When violence broke out and the ruckus escalated, he hid his face and escaped from there sitting on a bike.
The police have got his criminal record removed. In which 2 cases of attempt to murder are going on against him. Apart from this, he was also involved in the farmers’ movement on the Delhi border.
Threatened to behead the anti-Khalistan march
Barjinder Parwana’s plans did not come to the fore all of a sudden. When Shiv Sena announced to take out a march against Khalistan, it had threatened. Parwana had said that some people consider themselves to be a part of Hinduism but we do not. He wants to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab. He put a post that on April 29, Khalistan Murdabad March would be taken out. Parwana said that if someone says ‘Khalistan Murdabad’ in front of me, I will cut his neck.
Barjinder Parwana’s criminal record
- The first case was registered on 7 January 2016 in the police station Banur of Patiala. A case was registered against him for murderous assault and under the SC / ST Act. Its challan has been presented in the court.
- The second case was registered on 27 May 2019 at Sadar Patiala Police Station. In which there is an allegation of disturbing government duty. Invoice for this has also been presented.
- The third case has been registered at Lahori Gate Patiala police station. In which there is an allegation of murderous assault and violation of the Disaster Management Act. It is being verified.
- The fourth case was registered on 7 August 2021. This case has been registered in Mohali’s police station Balongi under Arms Act and other sections. Challan for this has also been presented in the court.
