He said that after coming to power at the Center in 2014, the BJP-led government in ‘haste’ set up an SIT to investigate the 1984 riots.

The AAP MLA said, “People believed that justice could finally be met. The SIT had also promised to bring the killers to justice within a year, but even after almost 10 years since then, we do not see any progress.” ”

“We request the BJP-led central government to bring justice to the victims of 1984 riots and bring the murderers to their end instead of conspiring with them,” he said.
