Pathan opened with a bang and collected over Rs 300 crore in the first week. Now its collections are increasing rapidly. Despite reduction in ticket prices across national multiplex chains, fans are coming in large numbers to watch the film and are helping the collections grow further. The film is doing well not only in India but also overseas.

Pathan collected Rs 8.25 crore on Monday, 7 February. The collections on Tuesday were in the same range, give or take. The total two-week collection of the film now stands at Rs 430 crore for the Hindi version in India. It will soon surpass the collections of KGF: Chapter 2 in Hindi. Moreover, Pathan minted an additional Rs 15.70 crore in the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions. Hence, in India, Pathan enjoys a massive business of around Rs 445 crore in two weeks.

Continuing its powerhouse run at the worldwide box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s espionage actioner Pathan has topped the global box office century (that’s in million dollars) tally in 12 days on Sunday. By Monday, it had earned $103.6 million. It is the first Bollywood film to cross the US$100 million mark without releasing in China.
Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal and Secret Superstar are ahead of Pathan’s worldwide collections, but this includes over USD 100 million from China, where the films were dubbed for local audiences.

At a media event celebrating the success of Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan hinted that a Pathan sequel was on the way.
