Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan continues to rule at the box office. The film marked Shahrukh’s return to the big screen after 4 years.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan is breaking all box office records. The film, which released on January 25, has earned Rs 972 crore at the global box office. While it is gearing up for 1000 crore collection, the film has collected Rs 572 crore at the nationwide box office. On the third Sunday the film earned Rs 12.60

Earlier, an official post by the production house Yash Raj Films also read, “Maximum entertainment. Maximum love!” as he revealed the box office numbers. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Pathan also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.
Pathan has already surpassed the lifetime collection of KGF 2 (Hindi) and has become the highest grosser in Hindi, surpassing SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2. After the success of Pathan, Shah Rukh recently took to social media to thank his fans, writing, “The sun is lonely… it burns… and comes out of darkness to shine again. Thank you all for letting the sun shine on Pathan.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham sharing screen space for the first time. The film also had an extended cameo by Salman Khan. Earlier on the success of Pathan, the filmmaker shared with ETimes, “It is a bit surreal. I am happy just being a part of the industry and being able to make films because I don’t know anything else. And now you are being given so much credit, you know, like bringing cinema back, bringing single screen back, bringing box office back, bringing audience back… so I don’t know how to react to all these tags. Let me I am just happy that I have found my next job. And I can continue making films.
