The American singer-songwriter married her boyfriend and fitness trainer Sam Asghari in a fairy-tale wedding that was attended by 60 guests at their Los Angeles home. The star-studded wedding was attended by many big names including Paris Hilton, one of Britney’s closest friends. Paris is truly Britney’s friend as she turned down another big event to attend her BFF’s wedding.
The 41-year-old businessman spoke about the same on his podcast, This Is Paris Podcast. Hilton talked about how she had to turn down another gig for the same. “I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all the other presidents around the world for dinner, but it was more important to me,” Hilton said.
The event Paris was referring to was Biden’s dinner welcoming world leaders as part of the Ninth Summit of America.
Elaborating on the criminal singer’s marriage, the DJ said that it is the story of Spears. She continued, “But all I can say is that I am very happy for her. She looked amazing and I was so glad to see that she got her story.”
Britney’s wedding was a dream affair, with Britney donning a gorgeous Versace gown and sharing pictures from her special day on Instagram. Spears captioned her post, “Fairytales are real” while her new husband Asgari left a comment saying “Out of a movie” with a red heart emoji. Britney also released a BTS video of her wedding with the track Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love.
As far as their honeymoon plans go, “they don’t have honeymoon plans yet, but Britney would love to take another trip,” the source told People Magazine. For her wedding, Spears walked down the aisle in a stunning Atelier Versace gown before changing dresses three times during the night. Pink flowers, including garden roses, peonies and hydrangeas, filled the aisles where guests sat on wooden seats for the ceremony. A source previously told PEOPLE: “Britney herself walked down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning in her main dress. She broke down in tears of joy for a few moments.”
For starters, Spears and Asgari met in 2016 while shooting their Slumber Party music video and got engaged in September 2021. They revealed they were expecting their first child together in April, but Spears miscarried a few weeks later.
