There are reports of dating of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. Amidst the rumours, Parineeti spoke about her personal life coming under the limelight.
Parineeti Chopra talks about the focus on her personal life amid rumors of dating AAP MP Raghav Chadha. In a new interview, the actress was asked how she deals with the media glare on her personal life as the growing rumors about her relationship and impending wedding are making headlines. The Shuddh Desi Romance actress admits that she tries to take him in a positive light.
“If I was a nobody or they were not interested in me, it would probably mean that I didn’t achieve what I tried to achieve as an actor because a successful actor would be famous, in everyone’s homes room conversations, a part of news, a part of news channels, a part of digital media, a part of paparazzi culture, and everything,” she told lifestyle Asia India.
While attention cannot be avoided, Parineeti said there is a thin line between discussing her personal life and ‘crossing the line into being too personal or abusive’. She said that in such cases, she issues a clarification to indicate if something is being said about her wrongly.
“If it ever happens, I’ll just give an explanation if anybody has done anything wrong. So, I mean, if the world isn’t interested, I’ll consider myself a failure. If the world is interested, it means I think I have done something right in my career, so I look at it that way.
Earlier this year, Parineeti sparked off dating rumors with Raghav. While Parineeti and Raghav downplayed the rumours, Raghav was asked about the rumors on several occasions and the politician swiftly shot back at them. He was recently asked whether the wedding preparations are going on. Raghav hints that there will be a celebration but he will speak about it when the time is right.
If reports are to be believed, Parineeti and Raghav studied together at the London School of Economics and have been friends for a long time. They also follow each other on Instagram.
