‘Parents avoid paying fees’ | Jaipur News – Times of India

JAIPUR: Though most of the parents said that they are not comfortable sending their children for offline exams, many private schools have alleged that the parents are evading the responsibility of paying the school fees.
This problem is not prevalent in large schools where more than 90% of the fees are deposited by the parents, but it is a reality in smaller schools where about 40% of the parents are yet to pay the fees.
Mukesh Kumawat, Director Gandhi Bal Niketan senior secondary school, Murlipura said that around 30% of the parents have not paid the fees. “The parents think that we cannot take any action against them. That’s why he hasn’t paid the fees. Many parents have been harmed in the pandemic for whom we are making exceptions but others, are not ready to pay the fees. This is an important reason for which they are opposing the offline exam,” Kumawat said.
headmaster of a private school Alwar Praveen Batra He added that parents should consider their child’s future and not just some economic benefit, unless they have a valid reason. However, the parents opposed it.
Manish Vijayvargiya, president of Parent Ekta Andolan said, “It is only the parents who are not able to pay the fees, they have delayed the payment. Many children also lost their parents. The school should consider this before putting the burden on the students.
