This comment of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has come after the paper was leaked a few hours before the commencement of the examination on Saturday.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Saturday that the general knowledge test for teacher recruitment in the state has been canceled as a precautionary measure so that injustice is not done to the youth.

His comments came after the paper was leaked hours before the exams were to begin on Saturday.

Gehlot tweeted, “Today, on December 24, from 9 am to 11 am, the general knowledge test for teacher recruitment has been canceled as a precaution, so that no injustice is done to the hardworking youth.”

“The rest of the exams will continue as usual. The government will not allow injustice to happen to any youth and the culprits will be given the strictest punishment.

The Chief Minister said that the government has made a strict law for transparency in recruitment examinations.

Unfortunately, paper leaking gangs are flourishing across the country, due to which incidents like paper leaks keep happening in many states. But by taking strict action in Rajasthan, anti-social elements have been put in jail.

I can feel the problems of the examinees, but those who come with the intention of passing the examination through unfair means will not be allowed to be selected. In Rajasthan, only the hardworking youth will get their rights. My appeal is that instead of getting misled by someone, you should continue with your preparation.

The opposition BJP targeted the state government over the issue.

BJP state president Satish Poonia tweeted, ‘Another paper has been leaked. Thousands of youth have traveled in the shivering cold to take the exam. Where is the conscience and common sense of the state government.
