In a shocking incident in Haryana’s Panipat district, a miscreant pointed a pistol at a youth to drive an auto out of the way. The incident took place in Nagpal Colony of the district and the person wielding the pistol fired in the air before leaving the spot. The victim has complained to the police, which has started investigation into the matter.
Victim Sohan told that he was loading goods on his auto on Monday. A youth living in the society where Sohan lived came with a woman on a scooty. Within minutes he quarreled with Sohan and ordered him to remove the auto from his way.
Soon the matter got worse and the criminal started beating Sohan. When he called for help, his brother reached the spot, but he was also beaten up. During the assault, the youth took out a pistol and pointed it at Sohan’s chest.
Hearing the noise, more people of the society reached the spot. Sensing the trouble, the miscreants fled from the spot by firing some bullets in the air. The woman present on the spot told that the accused was a resident of a flat inside the society. According to them, he claims to be a police officer, but he was never seen by anyone in his uniform.
The woman further said that the accused has a history of being violent with the people of the area. Investigating officer Balkar Singh said that a case has been registered on the complaint of Sohan and his brother and action will be taken against the guilty soon.
