Jakhar said that I condemn these incidents. My appeal is that in such times we should remain calm. He said that I hope such incidents will not happen again. But such efforts can certainly be made. When the accused is caught, instead of punishing him, he should be handed over to him for investigation. With this we will be able to get to its root and effective action can be taken.

Sidhu had said – hang the person who did the desecration
Here, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu has spoken of giving ‘Talibani’ punishment to the accused in the sacrilege case. Sidhu said that those who indulge in sacrilege should be hanged in front of everyone. Sunil Jakhar is a veteran Hindu face of Congress in Punjab. He was the Punjab chief of Congress when Captain was the CM. After this, the Congress high command removed him and made Navjot Sidhu as Punjab head. The police went to rescue him but the mob killed him too.

Possibility of spoiling the atmosphere in the election
Assembly elections are going to be held in Punjab in a few months. The atmosphere in Punjab is deteriorating due to sacrilege. Due to this apprehension is being expressed that a conspiracy is being hatched to err at the time of elections. Central intelligence agencies have also sent an alert to the Punjab government in this regard. Efforts are being made to spoil the communal brotherhood under the guise of religious places. After which the security of all religious places including Gurdwaras in Punjab has been increased.
