Delhi Police has arrested Hitesh Thakur, a member of the infamous Lawrence Vishnoi gang active in Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi, who was running a business of selling arms on social media. The Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of Delhi Police has revealed this arms market running on Facebook, whose link is also being linked to Pakistan.

Weapons sellers have created many fake profiles
KPS Malhotra, DCP, IFSO, Special Cell, said that many fake profiles have been created on social media, which offer to buy illegal weapons online. During investigation, it emerged that most of these profiles came after the statement made on social media of Lawrence Vishnoi gang, threatening to cause massive bleeding in Delhi after shooting gangster Jitendra Singh Mann alias Gogi in Rohini court shootout. was given. According to DCP Malhotra, IFSO took it very seriously and a case was registered on its behalf and investigation was started.

Police made a deal by becoming a customer, Hitesh arrested from Manesar
During investigation, it emerged that most of the Facebook profiles selling arms are linked to Lawrence Vishnoi and one profile belonged to the arrested accused Hitesh. The police made a deal with Hitesh to buy weapons on Facebook by becoming a customer and sent the advance payment to the bank account mentioned by him. Hitesh decided to deliver the weapons to Manesar in Haryana and take the remaining money. Police reached the spot and nabbed him.

Forensic investigation of mobile has got many leads
According to DCP, forensic examination of Hitesh’s mobile has been done. After this, the police has got a lot of information about this whole business and inputs and leads about the rest of the people related to it, which are being worked on.

Found link with Pakistan, also involved in contract killing
The DCP said that the evidence of Hitesh’s links with people sitting in Pakistan has also been found in the forensic investigation of the mobile. Although it could not be confirmed whether he was getting arms supply from across the border or not, but this angle is being investigated.

Not only this, Hitesh was in contact with dozens of gangs, most of which he had links with during his stay in Jodhpur jail in Rajasthan in a case. Along with providing logistical support to all of them, he also kills them as a contract killer.

Accused in 11 cases ranging from murder to dacoity
Malhotra told that there are more than 11 cases registered against Hitesh, which include all types of crimes from contract killing to dacoity. During interrogation, he confessed to making his debut in the crime world by stealing a bookshop in 2010. After being caught in this case, after returning from jail, he started the business of selling bikes by stealing.

A big transport businessman of Rajasthan was attacked
In 2013, Hitesh was involved in an attack on a high profile businessman associated with the transport industry of Rajasthan, but the businessman survived.
