PakistanAt least 17 people were killed on Thursday in a truck-bus collision in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police gave this information.
The incident took place near the Kohat tunnel on the Indus Highway, about 40 km south-west of Peshawar. Police said that one person was injured in the accident, while the injured and the dead bodies were taken to the district headquarters hospital.
Police said that the accident happened due to brake failure of the truck. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali and Caretaker Chief Minister Aajam Khan Expressed deep sorrow and grief over the fatal accident.
