In a video widely shared online, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid can be seen ‘blaming’ Pakistan’s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif To trace the whereabouts of Ajmal Kasab, the main accused of 26/11, to India. In the video, Rashid completely disregards Kasab’s being one of the key operatives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and how he works for the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) organization. Instead, he tries to defame Sharif by telling how he revealed his whereabouts to Pakistani terrorists and India.

“It was Nawaz Sharif who told India that Kasab is in Faridkot and I would be happy to take the blame if what I am saying is wrong,” he said. Rashid praised Imran Khan and even said that he does not work for PTI, but works for him.

Kasab was the lone survivor of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai in 2008. The attacks were aimed at congested places like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Taj Mahal Hotel and luxurious hotels like Tower, Oberoi and others. Trident and Nariman House.

No prime minister in Pakistan’s history has ever been deposed via a no-confidence motion, and Khan is the third prime minister to face the challenge.
