Jamshedpur was the hottest in the state at 31 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees above normal while the night temperature was 2.4 degrees above normal at 18 degrees Celsius. The deviation was more pronounced in Chaibasa, where the daytime temperature, which was 30.8 °C, was 2.9 °C above the normal range and the nighttime temperature, which was 19.2 °C, was 3.4 °C above normal.
