Over 52.36 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far; 54,04,78,610 provided to states, union territories: Govt. India News – Times of India

New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry’s bulletin issued on Thursday said that India’s cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination coverage has crossed the 52 crore landmark.
As per provisional report 52,36,71,019 till 7 am on Thursday Vaccination The dosage has been given through 59,97,068 sessions across the country. Of these 44,19,627 Dosage administered in the last 24 hours, the bulletin showed.
The release also stated that Center 54,04,78,610 doses of vaccine have been provided to stateshandjob union territories Until now. It said that 2,55,54,533 remaining and unutilized doses are still available with states, UTs and private hospitals and 1,09,83,510 more are in the pipeline.
According to the government the consumption of the dosage so far is 52,00,96,418.

The central government also said that it is committed to accelerate the pace and expand the coverage of vaccination across the country. The new phase of universalization of vaccination has started from 21st June this year.
NS vaccination campaign This has been enhanced through increased availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability to states and union territories for better planning and streamlining of the vaccine supply chain.
As part of the nationwide immunization drive, the government said, it is supporting states and union territories by providing them with free vaccines. In the new phase of universalisation of the programme, the government said it will procure and supply 75% of the vaccines being produced by manufacturers in the country free of cost to states and union territories.
