The song was released on Christmas Eve and is breaking records, beginning with the teaser in the first episode.
While snippets of the song appear a few times on the show, it was first played by Choi Ung in the first episode when he sat down to sketch a building. The artist holds a record called ‘Our Summer’ in a traditional gramophone with the name Christmas Tree and enjoys the track while working. However, the identity of the singer has not been disclosed on the show.
This has us wondering, what if Kim Taehyung would surprise fans with a cameo. Now, now, before you jump to any conclusions, we know that there has been no such announcement from the show nor HYBE. But if our sweetheart wanted to summer, they could introduce Taehyung as a fictional singer who meets Choi Ung, who is a fan of his work. Another way producers can engage singers is through NJ. The producers also got a chance to feature the musical idol played by Roh Jeong-ee, collaborating with the Christmas Tree singer on the show.
