The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) recently announced the results of the Combined Recruitment Exam 2023 for the posts of Junior Assistant (JA) and Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO). Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their provisional results by directly visiting the official website at osssc.gov.in.
This recruitment drive was conducted by the OSSSC to hire a total of 6862 candidates. Out of these 6862 vacancies, 4565 are for the post of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) whereas the remaining 2297 have been allocated for Junior Assistant posts. It needs to be noted that the application process for the exam commenced on February 26 and continued till March 27, 2023. On the other hand, OSSSC CRE document verification was done till December 31, 2023.
The official notification released by OSSSC read, “The results published herewith are subject to orders of the Hon’ble High Court, Orissa in W.P. C) No. 33639/2023, 33663/2023, and similar other cases. The selection of the candidates belonging to PwD category is provisional and shall be subject to re-verification and clearance by the Appellate Authority. The candidates may see the details of their results in the Provisional Select List by logging in the commission’s web portal www.osssc.gov.in with their User ID and Password.”
OSSSC JA, PEO Results 2023: Steps To Check
Step 1: First of all, locate the official website at www.osssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link under ‘JA, PEO CRE 2023 Results’ on the homepage.
Step 3: This will display the provisional selection list of candidates on your screen.
Step 4: The next step requires you to look for your roll no in the PDF.
Step 5: Download a copy of the same for further use.
Meanwhile, the Qualifying Written exam for OSSSC JA, PEO Recruitment 2023 was conducted by the Commission on July 9 across various districts of Odisha. In addition to that, the commission held the Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills on October 6 last year in the respective districts.
